Could this be a Miaenia insularis ? Can't see the pronotal spines in your picture very clearly.

Miaenia (Aegocidnus) insularis (Fisher, 1934) for the full name.

Is there any detailed locality associated with the specimen? My experience with other species of this genus is that that it is from coastal vegetation.

Fisher's HT for this species is from "Dolok Baros, east coast Sumatra", but I can't find any place in Sumatra with this name, so not sure if it is REALLY coastal.

I have different Miania species from China & Laos which do not come from coastal area.
