I wonder if this is a female of Ctenoscelis coeus (Perty, 1832) or C. acanthopus (Germar, 1824)?

Having a punctured pronotal disc, it should be acanthopus...

OK, thank you, Francesco. To me, the punctation in the center looked confusingly fine, leaving glabrous areas on both sides of the central line.

This is a male of Ctenoscelis coeus, the female has a narrower pronotum and a thinner 3rd antennal article. The pronotum of acanthopus is much more transverse. Here after a pair of coeus.
