This specimen is shown on page 39, fig. 452 of Hua Li-Zhong's "Iconography of Chinese Longicorn Beetles" under the name of Gnatholea subnuda Lacordaire. We could study this item. It is the only actually known male and becomes a paratype (Allotype) of a new species: Gnatholea trichotela Haller, Drouin & Lin, known from Laos, Vietnam and southern China.
