I got this spm as Sarothrocera lowi but this is clearly wrong, from S-Thailand, female, 43 mm, recently I have no idea or the location is wrong ??

Paranaera oculata Hudepohl, 1994. described from Myanmar. I also have it from Borneo.

Je ne connais pas les bêtes asiatiques mais ça ressemble beaucoup au genre Cerosterna !

thanks a lot Dan and Gerard, I would never thought to this species.
Jérôme has right maybe a better home for this sp should be Cerosterna.

I agree that Paranamera is a questionable genus for this species. It may belong in its own genus, but there are already so many genera in this tribe.

I think no: the genus Cerosterna shows a strong tooth on the mesosternum.

By the way: I have just published a taxonomic revision of Cerosterna with the description of a new species.
