| I add that the elytra is densnly and finely granulate (that gives this strange velvety impression) and sligtly hairy. Never seen such kind of Xystrocera (if it is weel Xystrocera ... ) |

What characters must be examined ? it has spinose scape, mandibule short and elytra elongated .... very like Xystrocera (even in some structure details)
I first thought it may be Jonthodes beacause of first appareance but is very far from it. Of course there are some callichromatini with the same first appearance but structure is not like them. |

Yes, I agree: it is a Xystrocera of the group IV (see key here), difficult to identify since it is a female.
I can try to confront it with the species of the Museum Luxembourg.
Concerning the keys, you can use Gahan's (1906) keys.
In general, Xystrocerini is the most primitive tribe (while Callichromatini is among the most evolved), characterised by nocturnal eyes (Callichromatini: diurnal), coxal cavities transverse as Prionini (Callichromatini: rounded), posteriorly open (Callichromatini: closed).
In the group with these characters, Xystrocerini are the only ones characterised by by corneous ligula... characters shared by some "tribes" (Methiini, Oemini) which are not distinguishable from Xystrocerini by peculiar characters, although some classifications keep quoting them...
Callichromatini show the peculiar character to have odoriferous pores.
