Die hellen Bänder auf dem Vertex und dem Pronotum scheinen mir bei H.dorsana viel breiter zu sein. Dein Exemplar stimmt mit Breunings Beschreibung von H.fasciculata (Revision, 1950) überein. Es scheint mir ein wenig berieben zu sein, aber unterscheidet es sich wirklich von den Exemplaren, die ich hier unten gepostet habe? |

Your specimens from Laos are very similar, and yes, some broken off white tufts of hair can be recognised at higher magnification. My specimen also has numerous individual, protruding hairs on the lateral sides of the elytra. |

For Breuning, the only species with white tufts of hair is Hirtaeschopalaea fasciculata Breuning, 1938. My specimens do not fit with Breuning's key and descriptions. |
