This specimen belongs evidently to Neoplocaederus fucatus (Thomson, 1858).
I have got another specimen from I. Principe.

I have lost this topic.
I identified this specimen as such since it was the only species recorded from Sao Thomé in a publication about the local fauna. Actually, I have some doubts concerning N. fucatus...
I have to search the original descriptions in order to separate both species. One of both might be erroneous.

Is it spinicornis?
I don't see any spines on antennae...maybe they are oriented underneath, so they are not visible on this picture?
If not, it is different from spinicornis: (http://www.cerambycoidea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=408).
The pronotum sculpture looks different too.
