Concerning Sama's synonymies I am a bit (= very) suspicious...
Actually, N. denticornis cannot be used in any cases, since it is a well-known unnecessary emendation for Lamia spinicornis Fabricius, 1781, as already Gahan noticed in 1890 (confront here, p. 3).
If this author makes errors like that, I can imagine the rest...

Well, Holzschuh (2003) stated for Saudi Arabia "Plocaederus atlanticus", type locality Rabat in Morocco, as a species significantly distinct from "Plocaederus denticornis" of tropical Africa. However, Sama (2000) put them into synonymy.
What is more interesting, in the recent Catalogue of Loebl & Smetana, there is N. denticornis (= atlanticus, etc.) with distribution only in OM,SA,YE.
Concerning my specimen from Kenya, it has rather truncated apex of elytra with small spines. |

The species recorded in Oman is actually Neoplocaederus atlanticus (Rungs, 1952) (confront here).
This might be a female of Neoplocaederus granulatus (Aurivillius, 1909).
Are the elytra truncated or rounded at apex? |

It resembles me N. denticornis.
But my specimens from Oman have more distinct spines of antenna.. |
