I consider the synonymy to be justified, but unfortunately the examination of the genital morphology has been omitted.
I consider a synonymy within the genus Chloridolum to be very hazardous only after pictures and actually, it brings only new ambiguities. But maybe more material was examined and not listed in the paper!
Other extremely similar species and, in my opinion, not surely separable by external morphology are:
Chloridolum cyaneonotatum Pic, 1925, chapaense Pic, 1932, hainanicum Gressitt, 1940, shibatai Hayashi, 1971 and Chloridolum nadleri, scale, 2018.
Until today still unidentified species, which are very similar to all these species, should be added to them.
If there is now a character, which in most cases can eliminate all ambiguities at least in the male..... so I cannot understand why it is not used either  |

Die Synonymie halte ich durchaus für gerechtfertigt, doch leider wurde auf die Untersuchung der genitalmorphologie verzichtet.
Eine Synonymie innerhalb der Gattung Chloridolum halte ich nur nach Bild für sehr gewagt und bringt eigentlich nur neue Unklarheiten. Aber vielleicht wurde ja auch weiteres Material untersucht und nicht in der Arbeit aufgeführt !
Weitere, extrem ähnliche Arten, und nach meiner Meinung nicht sicher durch äußere Morphologie zu trennen sind:
Chloridolum cyaneonotatum Pic, 1925, chapaense Pic, 1932, hainanicum Gressitt, 1940, shibatai Hayashi, 1971 und Chloridolum nadleri, Skale, 2018.
Dazu kommen bisher unidentifizierte Arten, welche all diesen Arten sehr ähnlich sind.
Wenn es jetzt ein Merkmal gibt, welches zumindest im männlichen Geschlecht in den meisten Fällen alle Unklarheiten beseitigen kann..... so kann ich nicht verstehen, warum man das dann auch nicht nutzt |
