This species ( more than one specimen, from Larry Bezark's collection) has constant drawing and last antennomera black . I am not sure it is D. martes... |

Posted - 06/07/2016 : 19:15:49 Holzschuh identified this for me as Demonax martes Pascoe 1869. I have seen some very long series of this species and most of the specimens were consistently marked. However I have at least one aberration which was identified by Dauber in 2001 also as D. martes. I am not convinced it is the same species, but what should be done with one clytine that is slightly different? |
