Well: there are only two possibilities: T. politus Bates or T. elegans Dupont.
T. politus has antennae black with the last antennomeres yellow, T. elegans has antennae ringed (typical form) or completely black-brown (other subspecies).
Therefore, Trachyderes elegans elegans Dupont, 1836.

Second case: all have this small tubercle.

Here it is necessary to know if the mesosternum is vertically truncated anteriorly (1) or it is armed with a pointed tubercle (2).
