I am relaying here a question asked by G. Tavakilian (titan base)

What to choose? In the Canadian wildlife of Bousquet & al, 2017, some dates have already been modified.

Posted - 30/05/2019 : 13:22:43 One can appeal to ICZN to retain a name rather than replacing a name that everybody is familiar with. Yes, (micro)technically, some names are in violation of the code. Furthermore, I ask that if the species is North American, then it should be left to workers in that region to fix the problem, since it is their literature and labels that is mostly disturbed. |

Bousquet, Y. 2018. The dating of the fourth volume of Guillaume-Antoine Olivier's "Entomologie, ou histoire nature/le des insectes." ZooKeys 734: 137- 148. |
