Hello all. Unsure of this one, it has a beautiful downy brick red colouration.

Sabah, North Borneo. |

Posted - 29/02/2016 : 14:46:04 No data except "Borneo"? Very unfortunate. Is that even reliable? If Breuning described it, he could have created another genus!! It is not a described species from Borneo, however there are Sumatran and west Malaysian species which have not yet been recorded from there |

Yes, Monochamus: the cicatrix is evidently closed. |

Posted - 27/02/2016 : 21:01:55 Hello there. Unfortunately I have no additional data to go on. I will get a close up of the pronotum tomorrow. I will search in Monochamus for the time being, thanks. |

Posted - 26/02/2016 : 14:59:59 What is the locality? A close-up of the pronotum might help. I can't determine whether I have seen this before. |
