No, actually, it not correspond to Glenida cyaneipennis ikedai either, since the apical end of the 3 article should also be black...

Je vais les mettre dans l'autre topic.

I'd not be so sure...
The description of puncticollis says:
"das fünfte Fühlerglied besonders auf der Dorsalfläche und die Glieder 6 bis 11 Schwarzbraun".

Here the articles 4-11 are black... exactly as in Glenida cyaneipennis ikedai

Ok, I believe that we move forward ; Please, could you have a look to the other specimen from Laos ?

Thanks too Andreas. Like Francesco, this topic will be solved for me with the description which is lacking. For the knowledge, and because errors are always possible
Francesco Posted - 16/03/2013 : 08:19:15
Thanks Andreas.
This confirms my identification but says us nothing about G. puncticollis...
Xaurus Posted - 16/03/2013 : 01:29:11
Dear Xavier,

the spms of G. cyaneofasciata were det. by C. Holzschuh, I trust him sure.
Xavier Posted - 08/03/2013 : 09:16:13
Thanks Andreas. Why are you sure of your determination?
Glenida cyaneofasciata is described by Breuning from Bhutan, country which seems to belong to the same bio-geographical area.
...But I really want to read the description of this species . We already know that this species is sold with another name (G. puncticollis) by an insects trader, and it might be an error ...but without the original description... Could you help us?
Xaurus Posted - 07/03/2013 : 23:04:07
It's Glenida cyaneofasciata Breuning, I have spms from north Laos

Francesco Posted - 02/03/2013 : 21:25:24
Parfait.
