19 mm. Hua Phan, nord Laos.

= The 2 bumps lead me to genus Mutatocoptops; but in Gressitt(1970), There is only Mutatocoptops alboapicalis Pic, 1925, which I do not recognize here or on Francesco picture

Thank you, Olivier. These are the data received with the specimens. I'm going to check all the specimens in my collection from the same locality.
You are right: I just found that it is from Xekong Province in Laos.
Thanks again
Saludos

Hi Sergio, for me Phou Phien Kha Sieng is not a chinese data but more probably from Laos like in this publication from Alain Drumont. New contribution to the knowledge of the genus Vietetropis Komiya, 1997 with the description of a new species from the Guangxi province in southern China.

The fauna of southern Yunnan is almost identical to that of northern Laos, no border for longhorn beetles

Yes, I have read it. But my doubt is about the size and shape of the size and shape of the prominent elytral ridges: they are quite different in my 2 specimens. It means it is a very variable and Yamasako&Chou says "relatively rudimentary and obtuse in G. laosica".
My other "doubt" was about the distribution area. I know it is a weak argument, but if so it will be expanded from China (Yunnan) to Thayland (Chiang Mai), noy only Laos.
Says that, I believe they are females of G. laosica.
Thank you for your help and patience.

Second one is from Chiang Mai, Thailand. Total Length: 20,0 mm

Do they have the same species?. Do they are Gibbomesosella laosica Breuning, 1969?

Saludos

It should be the female (same location).

It is not this species...

Any more idea ?

yes ok, generally I think for worldwide scientific communications the english language is usefull and practically, the use of a translater is no problem but I lost time.
