I think I rushed with emotions.
The pronotal ridge of my blue Sternotomis (I got it a long time ago as S. bohemani ferreti) not so curved and differently shaped as ones on Sergi`s foto..
I guess my beetles is normal S. bohemani. Waste panic

I have this one too, but from Tanzania right (Dar-Es-Salaam)
And white-greenish S. bohemani from Central Africa have similar pronotal ridge..

For the pronotal ring more incurved, my species are S.mathildae crearly!! ????????

For more indication, here you have a comparison between the two species:
mathildae left and bohemani right.
As you can see, there is a difference on the shape of anterior pronotal ring (more incurved in the one of mathildae) and on the shoulder carinae.

Ok Claude, I will determine this species with the name Sternotomis mathildae momentarily.
Capitaine Posted - 20/05/2016 : 11:50:21
It's more probably S. mathildae know in Camerun, Bohemani is widespread on the South of Africa (Tanzanie, Namibie, etc..).
The pattern of these species are very close.

Thanks Carlo for both determinations.

One question, Sternotomis mathildae Allard, 1993, not is correct for this species????
