Thanks, yes Penthides is similar, but much more hairy at the whole body, and with shorter antennae, maybe nearby is Asaperdina whiteheadi (Gressitt, 1940) - somebody has a type picture ?

Here a color picture of the holotype of Soupha nouvongi, 1963 (thanks to Larry)

Andreas specimen is different : black antenna and not round side pronotum.

Desmiphorini(sensu largo) species, our lamiine is very near Penthides (here antenna are perhaps too long) or Soupha nouvongi, 1963, you can see in Rondon & Breuning, 1970 (Lamiines du Laos) : 488 (fig c).
Perhaps different with pronotum which seems a little bigger in the small black&white picture.

Bonjour

Just an idea, (better here than in my head ?), something close to Penthides genus ? (but Desmiphorini )

Ok with Jérome. I have checked all the types pictures I have, and pronotum seems long for a Serixia...I don't know what is it .
Jérôme Sudre Posted - 08/04/2015 : 17:36:56
The genus Serixia seems likely? However pronotum is still very strong? And the apex of scape relatively bulged. Can be Serixia sedata Pascoe? but not certain at all ....
I have an ex S Sedata in collection and it does not look like quite.

I'd say Saperdini, Nedytisis, Serixia or some genus like those.
Have you checked the metepisterna?
