A pair from Taiwan, Yualo, Chienshin, Hsinchu.
Male 43 mm, female 38 mm.

They were determined as "Dorysthenes hydropicus Pascoe" when I received them.

Coming back to this post, it is not evidently P. igai, which has coarsely punctured elytra.
Maybe D. pici, as you said here, but I need to read the description of Dorysthenes elegans Ohbayashi, 1981

The lobes of the third tarsal segment seem to me rounded (and not acute as in Cyrtognathus), the pronotum uneven and punctured, and the elytra show a double dorsal ridge; hence, they should be a pair of Dorysthenes (Prionomimus) igai Matsushita, 1941.

Actually, the reddish colouration corresponds better to the definition of the species (endemic from Taiwan) than that of the specimens coming from China.
