About 11mm long. I believe it is an acanthocine, based on divaricate tarsal claws, clavate femora, procoxal cavities rounded. However, it would help if any of the members of this forum have seen anything similar in other areas of SE Asia. I have 3 more species which are rather similar to this. Any comments would be helpful.
In this older post, I see we had a species that caused a little confusion. I think it is somewhat related to the species posted above. Metallic elytra. Divaricate tarsal claws.
I have specimens of the species posted as a possible "Melegena" and it is not extremely rare.
I have set them next to my Acanthocinini in my collection, as I can not find another group to which they belong.
