Cereopsius elongatus Breuning & de Jong, 1941 (male)

This is a fairly common species from Sabah which Hudepohl identified for me a long time ago. I have not seen the type. It seems the large white maculae on the sides of the prontoum are more distinctive than on C. sexmaculatus Aur.

The female usually has a third pair of maculae on the elytra, near the apex, like some specimens of C. sexmaculatus Aur.
