A large 31mm Cerambycinae spec. from Togo.

A lateral view shows best the spines beneath the first antennomeres. This kind of spines remembers some south American Cerambycini...!

Yes, it is true. This kind of spines (and the coarsely ridged scape) can also be found in Neoplocaedeus frenatus from Oriental Africa. But this species has bowed pronotal spines.
This seems to be its Western counterpart. I have to look for its name...
