Ostedes sp., très proche de Ostedes (Trichostedes) ochreomarmorata Breuning, 1963 mais la couleur des antennes différente.

Cette espèce pourrait bien être Pararhopaloscelides sericeipennis Breuning, 1947 (Desmiphorini), dont deux synonymes ont été décrits dans le genre ...Mimostedes Breuning, 1955
