a nice specie, really similar to the creature at 1 post before in this tribe, but in Malaysia this genus in unknown !

Dear Shinichi, the pronotum is different towards Pseudanaesthetis, otherwise it could described in this genus why not.

Yes.

Its pronotum differs from Pseudanaesthetis langana Pic, 1922.
But very close to Pseudanaesthetis mizunumai Hayashi, 1974.

So, I confuse.

and what about Pseudanaesthetis sumatrana Pic, 1945 ?
It is a dark red species with black femora...(cf Breuning,1975).
I have neither the original description, neither a picture of the holotype, sorry.

oh, we have quite different species within the genus Pseudanaesthetis, more confusions as well
