No, it isn't. C. varius is a more robust species, whose female always has got a wide black band on the pronotum (the male three points).
This belongs to the group of C. arciferus; there are a lot in this Forum. The problem is that Chlorophorus are usually variable concerning the pattern and it is unclear how limiting the different species. If you has the possibility, it would be interesting to collect series of specimens (preferably in copula) in order to understand their variability.

Thank you so much, however I have only one specimen of the species in my collection.
