I hope everyone is well. Currently isolating with Coronavirus symptoms here just north of London! Any help appreciated on beetles I will post in the coming days.
Thanks.
Oncideres sp? Data: 18-08-11 - Whitehouse - Texas - USA
Yes, Onciderini. Looks a little like Taricanus truquii, which was inexplicably reported from Texas in the 19th century, although nobody ever provided any further data, nor are there any preserved voucher specimens.
I have no doubt that your locality is erroneous. Or, somehow this beetle managed to get to Texas in an uncured piece of wood or some other act of commerce.
