What is the defining features to differentiate between the two families please?

Ben, L. fasciatus looks OK for me.

Pronotum basically rectangular = Oncideres
Pronotum generally narrowed towards the apex = Lochmaeocles.

Thanks Larry, I can sort of see what you mean but in some species it's hard to see :)
