Bonjour quelqu'un a une photo de femelle de Metacoptops nagaii Yamasako & Heffern, 2018
Cette bête est surement une femelle de cette espèce, dans la description je ne vois pas de femelle dans la série. |

I sent two examples of this species (both females) to Yamasako in 2011. Since he did not include them as paratypes of Metcoptops nagaii, then he obviously does not consider them to be that species. Perhaps, he would like to discover a male before describing it. I don't know. It would not hurt to ask him... he is very helpful in answering questions about this tribe. |

In 2011, I sent almost all of Bornean Mesosini to Yamasako. He said, at that time, that there were 3 species of Metacoptops, .. M. fasciculata and 2 new species. His work is progressing, so perhaps in another year or two there will be a revision.
There are also many other new Mesosini from Borneo which will be described, however so many species are closely related to species from Sumatra and West Malaysia. It is obviously difficult to obtain enough material for study.

Dans le post mentionné, les photos illustrent potentiellement 5 espèces différentes voire 2 genres.
Je me suis rapporté à une photo de Dan qui correspond à la bestiole de Gérard.
Mais je n'ai pas de certitude, ne connaissant pas le type de M fasciculata, par ailleurs génotype. |

Dans ce post, Dan explique que Yamasako travaille sur des nouvelles espèces de Borneo, mais j'ai du mal à comprendre laquelle est Metacoptops fasciculata (Aurivillius, 1911). L'espèce de Gérard correspond à la 4ème photo. |

Yamasako is working on this group. He has borrowed my material so I can't say much more right now. This species is maybe new. You should check with him. |
