Indeed, P. crassidens does exist, but Physopleurus found in French Guiana has been confused with crassidens for more than 15 years. Delahaye and Tavakilian specified the difference. That's what I meant by that. |

The crassidens and ubirajarai species are 2 valid species (see Delahaye & Tavakilian publication, 2015).

Really, I did just correct the old name of P. crassidens.
But, it is a female of Mallodon spinibarbis.
M.chevrolati don't exist in french Guiana.
