Male of vietnamese long Exocentrus some similar to E. brunnescens Holz.,1995 but not sure, certainly
5 mm, Sa Pa reg., Lai Thiau prov., 1 km W Tram Ton pass

with bad toment (definitely not brunnescens), if its a male ? it should have a teeth at the 1st fore tarsal segment

I don`t think so.. Gabitually it`s more similar to hupehensis for me (about shape of pronotum and body, thoracal spines, and design of elytral pattern too despite the fact that it's some shabby really)
What do you think of that idea?

yes, E. hupehensis is similar too, but I haven't this sp in my coll for comparision
