This is probably Jordanoleiopus (Polymitoleiopus) albosuturalis Breuning, 1955. The holotype is probably in Paris. A similar species might be Jordanoleiopus (Polymitoleiopus) flavosuturalis Breuning, 1958, which differs from the previous one by yellow pattern instead of white. I fail to define the colour exactly. |

I will opt more for J flavosuturalis but again the differences between the two taxa is particularly "farfetched" |

Thank you, Jean-Philippe. Where is it possible to see the type? |

Back to this old post after corresponding outside the forum with Jérôme: - it is not Jordanoleiopus flavosuturalis Breuning, 1958 - it is not Jordanoleiopus fuscosignatus Breuning, 1964 [I confused origin with following] - it is Jordanoleiopus fuscosignatus Breuning, 1969 [type from Cameroon in MNHN ] - homonym renamed as Jordanoleiopus (Polymitoleiopus) fuscosignatipennis Breuning, 1971

Thank you very much for the clarification. I'll add this to the database. |
