Does anyone recognise this Acanthocinini sp.? 4 spines on pronotum, 2 spines on elytra... I am getting nowhere with Breuning's revision of the tribe.

Le genre le plus proche est Neacanista Gressitt, 1940.
Les différences avec le genre sont:
- les profémurs et protibias du mâle dentés intérieurement
- la dent subbasale des élytres, et non basale
- l'apex des élytres obliquement tronqué, et non épineux à la marge

Pourtant, je ne suis pas sûr qu'il faille créer un nouveau genre: j'ignore si le dimorphisme des pattes avant est spécifique ou non, car je ne trouve aucune photographie de mâle de Neacanista sp. identifié avec certitude.
