Yamasako ID'd this species for me as Mimocacia ferruginea Breuning, 1937. Larry has a photo on his website which originated from Makihara's book and is obviously a different species. Makihara's illustrated book from 1999 is full of mis-identified species.
The species shown here can occur without the white spots on the elytra.
