I am uncertain between Phymatodes lecontei Linsley, 1938 and a dark form of Phymatodes infuscatus (LeConte, 1859), both belonging to the subgenus Poecilium.
Is the pronotum granulate or punctate?

It is densely granulate.

Hence, it is a male of Phymatodes (Poecilium) lecontei.
